![]() On Win11, I was able to get Workstation running in native mode after uninstalling everything requiring HyperV (WSL aka Windows Subsystem Linux, Windows Sandbox, disabling also Windows Defender Core Isolation, etc). With Win10 there was this well-known way with: Its only unable to reach the VMWare endpoints and servers. I can ping between GNS3 devices, and to my external network. Now I cant get my VMs to ping any devices on my GNS3 Network. ![]() From their site, GNS3 is a tool to: Build, Design and Test your network in a risk-free virtual environment and access the largest networking community to help. Previous iterations of the tandem worked reasonably well until the last update. Combining GNS3 and VMware gives that swiss army knife to Network Engineers in a very meaningful way. Problem is that Win11 is keeping Hyper-V enabled most of the time, and this prevents to have VMware Workstation running natively (only way AFAIK, to get Intel VT-x). I am currently running GNS3 and VMWare Workstation on my Laptop. Enable Intel Virtualization Technology: Enabled VMWare can you please look to fix this as it was supposed to be fixed in v16. This gets GNS3 *to work* BUT - it breaks stuff such as Windows System for Linux (WSL). It would be "Not Configured", Select "Disable" and click "Ok" Double Click on "Turn On Virtualization Security" to open a new window ![]() I just installed the recent versions of GNS3 and the free VMware Fusion Player (Personal Use License) on MacOs Catalina. Double Click on Device Guard on the right hand side to open. The problem is that GNS3 dont work together with VMware Fusion Player (to run the GNS3-VM as server, for running the appliances, which are Dynamips and Quemu-VMs, in it). Go to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System The workaround is the following method but its still not working: ( KB2146361) Continue without virtualized Intel VT" GNS3 requires this setting to be enabled. I get this error message: "Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported on this platform. ![]()
